Lesley Birch: Painting with Oil and Cold Wax: Saturday 27th June 2026
10am-4pm
1 day with lunch
A Creative Day with Lesley Birch
Lesley has enjoyed working with oil and cold wax since 2014, learning from the initiator of this technique – the masterful US artist Rebecca Crowell. This is painting with a difference – no brushes and no direct planning! It’s challenging and exciting. Learn to mix the cold wax with oil paint and manoeuvre this lush mixture using a squeegee to create ethereal abstraction. Be prepared to explore and play.
You may wish to bring photographic references to help spark off some ideas.
