Garden Exploration; Sketchbook to Easel

This two day course will see us explore the wonderful gardens and grounds of Old Slen as we develop mixed media sketchbook responses which we will develop and extend in the studio.

The course will focus on developing an understanding of the processes of how to develop ideas from rich and varied stimuli into considered and thoughtful studio pieces. Individual guidance, support and tuition will be given to ensure you are able to develop your personal understanding of your artistic strengths and interests and how to communicate these through your work.

Liz often uses mixed media approaches in her sketchbooks and works and there will be a range of materials provided for you to experiment with and find your preferences.
